TL;DR
- NGOs are not involved in any prisoner releases, according to Diosdado Cabello.
- NGOs are accused of making money from detainees, calling them "political prisoners" and blackmailing families.
- Prisoner releases since 2025 are state policies, not the result of NGO efforts.
- The PSUV supports the National Program for Peace and Coexistence called by Delcy Rodríguez for national unity.
- The program encourages released individuals to work and not promote intolerance.
- Cabello criticized right-wing figures for opposing the partial reform of the Organic Hydrocarbons Law.
- These same figures previously opposed laws enacted by Hugo Chávez.
