Autoridades hallaron petroglifos en Monagas con una antigüedad de hasta ocho mil años

A petroglyph was found in the Quebrada Seca community, Cedeño municipality, Monagas state.
The discovery was made by Mayor Daniel Monteverde and a commission including INTI, Tourism, Civil Protection, and Firefighters.
The petroglyph is located about 3.5 kilometers from Quebrada Seca at an altitude of 647 meters.
The rock art is estimated to be between 4,000 and 8,000 years old and belonged to the original inhabitants.
Formal certification of the petroglyph will be sought from the Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Cultural Heritage.
