Public pet crematorium service activated in Maracay
The Maracay Metropolitan Cemetery now offers a specialized cremation service for companion animals, operating directly from its facilities under the management of the Maracay Cemetery Foundation (Funcemar). This new unit, authorized by Mayor Rafael Morales, arises as a response to the long-standing need of families in Aragua state for a dignified, respectful, and accessible alternative to say goodbye to their pets. The service is fully operational in the Casanova Godoy parish, positioning the capital of Aragua as a leader in public animal welfare management, following the models of cities like Caracas.
